Dafydd Wyn Morgan is one of Wales’ most passionate and enthusiastic night-sky photographers — a visual storyteller who specialises in astrophotography and night-time videography, capturing the stars in perfect harmony with the wild landscapes of the natural world.

Based in Tregaron in the Cambrian Mountains, Dafydd has spent years exploring Wales after dark, driven by a deep desire to share the wonder, beauty, and tranquillity of the night sky with others. In 2019, he was instrumental in creating the Cambrian Mountains Astro Trail, helping to establish the region as one of the finest dark-sky destinations in the UK.

His work has reached audiences far and wide, with photographs published in National Geographic, Sky at Night Magazine, Sky News, and numerous local, regional and national newspapers. His ability to blend technical skill with artistic vision has made him one of Wales’ standout night photographers.
